Since 2019, Welcome Home Team and Ben Stout Construction have partnered with a collective vision of providing the dream of homeownership to residents across the Southeastern part of North Carolina. We are committed to delivering a 5-star customer experience for both buyers and agents and our goal is to build homes that agents are proud to sell and have a team that they’re excited to work with, while ensuring that buyers are delighted with the quality and craftsmanship of their new homes. Benjamin Stout
President/CEO
Ben Stout, Owner/CEO of Ben Stout Construction, leads his team by focusing on empowering their growth, developing systematic approaches, and hiring the BEST team members. His passion and vision for achieving BSC’s goals keep his team driving toward the next challenge with an open-minded environment for solving problems. In addition to BSC, he enjoys creating family-friendly developments through his company, Stout Land Development, LLC. Producing multiple lots for fellow builders, BSC, and happy homeowners is the driving force for his growing land company.His personal recognition includes being nominated as one of Fayetteville Observer’s 40 under 40, serving as President of the Fayetteville HBA, being selected to serve on the North Carolina HBA nominating committee (2022), chairing the City of Fayetteville Planning and Variance board, chairing the City of Fayetteville Stormwater board, and representing BSC at many social events throughout the community. A graduate of the University of Georgia, he is a diehard fan and loves visiting Athens to watch his Bulldogs play! Supported by an amazing family, he enjoys spending time on the beach, coaching, and teaching his children through their various activities.
Cody Sharpless
COO
As Chief Operating Officer, Cody is responsible for operationalizing the company’s goals and strategic initiatives aligned with the CEO’s vision. He is responsible for implementing processes and procedures to enable functional and sustainable growth. Cody’s systematic and forward-thinking approach to operational planning plays a pivotal role in BSC’s ability to thrive in this contemporary operating environment. His exceptional leadership proves to bring the best out of all team members, allowing BSC to become one of the fastest-growing residential homebuilding companies in the state of North Carolina. His unparalleled work ethic and keen attention to detail keep BSC on track to become one of the largest residential homebuilders in the region.Cody is a proud military veteran with over 12 operational deployments around the world in both the military and private sector. He had the privilege of sitting on numerous philanthropy committees and currently sits on the Governmental Affairs Committee for the Home Builders Association of Fayetteville, a community that has given him so much.On rare occasions when Cody is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family outdoors.
Samantha Wells
Closing Coordinator
Samantha is an exceptional closing coordinator at Ben Stout Construction, expertly managing every detail to keep transactions on track. Born and raised just outside Fayetteville, she now lives in Gray's Creek, NC with her husband, son, and cherished pets. Outside of work, Samantha enjoys quality time with her family, immersing herself in a good book, and relaxing at Dirtbag Ales, her favorite local brewery.
